All About Lauren

My first wedding experience took place when I was 3 years old. It was my cousin's wedding, and my older sister and I were chosen to be flower girls. It was this beautiful, grand event in a Catholic church, with giant floral arrangements and overly hair-sprayed bridesmaids around every corner. My cousin was draped in a gorgeous ballgown with poofy sleeves while my sister and I wore matching floral dresses that my mother had made (she's a wizard seamstress, amongst other things). It was a great day; but honestly my clearest memory was me, walking with my sister, carrying a bridal bouquet that weighed what had to have been 1,000 lbs, sobbing the entire way down the aisle. I was petrified and thought I was being tortured. But apparently everything went well, and I got a Barbie and chocolate cake out of it. Thank goodness for time, because now I absolutely adore weddings and don't need Barbie's to get through the day.

I started this business several years ago after coordinating a wedding on a whim; I only knew bits and pieces of wedding planning, but my creative background and love for organization carried me through, and the wedding went on without a hitch. Since then, I've never stopped loving wedding work, and have developed my skills and expertise in every aspect of wedding planning. I thoroughly enjoy all parts of it; from designing centerpieces to scheduling rehearsal dinners to walking through the journey with each of my unique couples.

I believe each couple's wedding should fit who they are, and it is my job to bring their vision to life, to ensure that they are nothing but giddy and cared for on their special day (and not sobbing all the way down the aisle).

I currently live in Anaheim, California with my darling husband, Sean, two kitties, and bearded dragon. When I'm not in wedding mode, you can find me planning other events (literally it never stops), painting, interior designing, and watching shark movies--with popcorn and red wine.
